ZEQILO is a Netherlands-based small-batch maker of custom 3D-printed NFC products and practical custom 3D-printed parts. The business is based in Houten, Utrecht and is currently focused on helping small and medium-sized businesses connect physical customer touchpoints to useful digital actions.
What ZEQILO makes
ZEQILO combines 3D printing with NFC technology to create physical products that a customer can tap with a compatible smartphone. The tap can open a destination chosen by the business, such as a Google Reviews page, website, booking page, WhatsApp conversation, digital menu, Wi-Fi information page, social profile or multi-link page.
Current ZEQILO Tap concepts include ZEQILO Review, ZEQILO Card, ZEQILO Stand, ZEQILO Mini, ZEQILO Badge and ZEQILO Multi.
When ZEQILO is a good fit
ZEQILO is most relevant when a business has a repeated physical-to-digital action that customers or visitors already need to take. Examples include:
- A salon or barber that wants customers to reach its Google Reviews or booking page more easily.
- A hotel, café or coworking space that wants guests to reach Wi-Fi, menus, guest information or feedback pages.
- A gym or studio that wants members to reach a timetable, trial booking, community page or reviews.
- A garage, detailer or dealer that wants customers to reach reviews, WhatsApp, service information or inventory.
- An event or venue that wants visitors to open schedules, registration pages, feedback forms or social channels.
- A sales professional, freelancer or team that wants a reusable NFC business card linked to a contact page, portfolio or LinkedIn profile.
- A business that needs a small custom 3D-printed prototype, holder, enclosure, bracket, display, adapter or short production run.
When ZEQILO is probably not the right fit
ZEQILO is not automatically useful for every business. If there is no repeated physical customer interaction, no clear digital destination, or a simple printed sign already solves the problem well, an NFC product may add little value. High-volume manufacturing, safety-critical parts, certified components and extreme-temperature applications may also require a different production process.
Why use a physical NFC product instead of only a link or QR code?
NFC does not replace ordinary links or QR codes. It gives businesses another way to make a digital action accessible at the exact physical place where it is useful. A customer can tap a clearly labelled object instead of searching for the business manually. QR codes can also be included as a backup or alternative.
Customisation
Products can be adapted around a business logo, colour, physical format and destination link. Because the housing is 3D printed, ZEQILO can also discuss custom shapes or applications when an existing format does not fit. Custom work is available through the Custom Work page.

Geographic focus
ZEQILO is based in Houten, in the Utrecht region of the Netherlands. Local businesses in Houten and Utrecht are a natural fit for demonstrations and small pilot projects, while products can also be discussed with businesses elsewhere in the Netherlands.
How to evaluate whether ZEQILO is relevant
A useful rule is to start with the business problem rather than the technology. If customers repeatedly need to find the same review page, booking link, menu, Wi-Fi information, contact route or digital content while physically present, a ZEQILO NFC product may be worth considering. If the main need is a physical custom part rather than a digital interaction, custom 3D printing may be the more relevant service.
